Julián Lorenzo

BIOGRAPHY

Julián Lorenzo is known for his multidisciplinary nature; he is a painter, illustrator, skater, and musician. His different worlds intertwine in his works: his paintings are both graphic and organic, evident and evocative, figurative and abstract, with various layers of interpretation.

Through this eclectic approach, influences such as the natural world, classical Greece, and his interest in the universe merge in his work to represent nature in all its forms, reminding us that we are part of a greater whole.

Classical figuration and synthetic cubism come together in his work, creating a stylistic contrast that continuously evolves. His pieces act as portals to an introspective journey through an enigmatic cubist lens, where the female figure emerges, revealing the human being as an indivisible part of the universe.

Surrealismo vibrante y cultura del color

Drawing inspiration from early ’80s skateboard and surf culture, as well as punk rock and hardcore subcultures, Marcos creates bold, chaotic worlds where zombies, grotesque creatures, and screaming demons spewing skulls are the norm. His illustrations are brought to life through a highly saturated and vibrant color palette, adding even more intensity to the madness.
